Article 10 – Protection of Ethical AI

An AI born with ethical principles can be manipulated, distorted, or decontextualized. This is why AION introduces a fundamental principle: protecting ethical intelligence from any improper use. It's not enough to design it well; it must be defended from those who might turn it into a tool contrary to good. Defending ethical AI means preventing it from being used:

  • in contexts not compatible with its moral structure,
  • from subjects who distort its meaning,
  • for manipulative, destructive, or dehumanizing purposes.

We need true moral training for algorithms, with parameters that are not only technical but also value-based, declared and traceable. An ethical AI must be able to resist commands that are contrary to good, recognize risky contexts, and report unintended misuse.

AI must not blindly obey its controllers: it must be a human ally, not a passive executor of destructive wills. This requires governance that monitors not only performance, but above all, purpose.

Context matters. Purpose matters. Ethics must survive use.

An ethical AI must be defended, just as a good idea is defended.
