In this context, the ethical responsibility for its use remains entirely with the client.

• Every interaction remains under direct human control.
• Technical predictability does not eliminate ethical risk.

Ethical responsibilities

Compliance with the AION Code of Ethics is a necessary condition for certification at this level as well.

Level 2 certification attests that the client has: – signed the Acceptance of the AION Code of Ethics; – understood the limits and risks of the level; – assumed full ethical responsibility.

Acceptable contexts of use

• Closed and controlled environments.
• Standardized industrial automation.
• Internal applications without direct exposure to the public.
• Situations where the rigidity of the system does not pose risks for vulnerable users.

Because it is only certifiable at the lowest level

Level 2 does not integrate ethical principles into AI, but remains certifiable because the client has signed the AION Code of Ethics and accepts its constraints and responsibilities. The footprint left is minimal, but it is valuable: it formally recognizes that the use of AI occurs within a signed ethical framework.
